Sharkbite Studios has been in business since 1994. Located at Jack London Square in Oakland CA, it is easily accessible from any part of the bay area or for that matter, the world, with freeways and Oakland International minutes away. Movie theaters, fine and not so fine dining, and the ferry to San Francisco are blocks away. The 5,000 square foot facility, designed by Charles Rook, is made up of a large live room, a medium- sized iso room, 2 small/medium-sized iso rooms, an amp closet, lounge and eight good sized rehearsal rooms. The recording studio has it's own transformer-isolated electrical service to ensure clean and quiet power. The control room is quite large and comfortable at approximately 350 square feet.
